Hey everyone, my name is Lauren and I am the founder of Anxiety Aunt!
I have struggled with Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) my whole life. I have also had many other problems related to this – such as having trouble sleeping (insomnia), paranoia, a constant fear of embarrassment, and even problems completing exams etc.
There is no exact science to managing your own anxiety, depression, panic attacks etc – this is because everyone’s anxiety is caused and triggered by different things and situations.
You just need to find out what works for you – I want to help you figure this out by posting things that genuinely help me here on Anxiety Aunt. I will be sharing my personal experiences with products, services and methods that have helped me with anxiety.
I remember when I was diagnosed, I searched the internet to try to find ways to help my anxiety myself, but I couldn’t really find much – which really frustrated me. Now that I have found ways to help myself, I want to ensure other people can too, which is why I created Anxiety Aunt.
